PRIMARY
Y1 – Y6

International Primary Curriculum (IPC)

Learning with IPC takes a global approach, embedded with a clear process of learning which covers three main goals – academic, personal, and international mindedness.  The themes are chosen to cater to the needs of the student’s interests and age groups, ensuring a balance in subjects and learning styles.

LOWER SECONDARY
Y7 – Y9

Science (KS 3)

KS3 Science presents a fundamental shift from the science lessons that children will have in primary school. Much of the theory is replaced by genuine experiments complete with theory and a designed hypothesis.

UPPER SECONDARY
Y10 – Y11

Combined Science (0653)

Cambridge IGCSE Combined Science gives learners the opportunity to study Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, each covered in separate syllabus sections. It is a single award qualification, earning one grade.

UPPER SECONDARY
Y10 – Y11

Coordinated Science (0654)

Cambridge IGCSE Co-ordinated Sciences (Double Award) gives learners the opportunity to study Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, each covered in separate syllabus sections. It is a double award qualification, earning two grades.

UPPER SECONDARY
Y10 – Y11

Triple Science

For Triple Award science, students are taking 3 separate sciences:
Biology (0610), Chemistry (0620), and Physics (0625).
Students are learning in-depth topics for each subject and will be awarded separate grades for each subject.

TERTIARY
A-Level

A-Level Biology (9700)

The emphasis throughout is on the understanding of concepts and the application of biology ideas in novel contexts as well as on the acquisition of knowledge. The course encourages creative thinking and problem-solving skills which are transferable to any future career path. Cambridge International AS and A Level Biology is ideal for learners who want to study biology or a wide variety of related subjects at university or to follow a career in science.

TERTIARY
A-Level

A-Level Chemistry (9701)

The emphasis throughout is on the understanding of concepts and the application of chemistry ideas in novel contexts as well as on the acquisition of knowledge. The course encourages creative thinking and problem-solving skills which are transferable to any future career path. Cambridge International AS and A Level Chemistry is ideal for learners who want to study chemistry or a wide variety of related subjects at university or to follow a career in science.

TERTIARY
A-Level

A-Level Physics (9702)

The emphasis throughout is on the understanding of concepts and the application of physics ideas in novel contexts as well as on the acquisition of knowledge. The course encourages creative thinking and problem-solving skills which are transferable to any future career path. Cambridge International AS and A Level Physics is ideal for learners who want to study physics or a wide variety of related subjects at university or to follow a career in science.

TERTIARY
IBDP

IBDP Biology

At one end of the scale is the cell, its molecular construction and complex metabolic reactions. At the other end of the scale, biologists investigate the interactions that make whole ecosystems function.

TERTIARY
IBDP

IBDP Chemistry

It is often called the central science as chemical principles underpin both the physical environment in which we live and all biological systems. Apart from being a subject worthy of study in its own right, chemistry is often a prerequisite for many other courses in higher education, such as medicine, biological science and environmental science.

TERTIARY
IBDP

IBDP Physics

Despite the exciting and extraordinary development of ideas throughout the history of physics, observations remain essential to the very core of the subject. Models are developed to try to understand observations, and these themselves can become theories that attempt to explain the observations.

TERTIARY
WACE / AUSMAT

WACE Biology

This course gives students a chance to explore what it is to be human – how the body works, the origins of human variation, inheritance in humans, the evolution of the human species and population genetics.

TERTIARY
WACE / AUSMAT

WACE Chemistry

This course equips students with the knowledge, understanding and opportunity to investigate properties and reaction of materials. Theories and models are used to describe, explain and make predictions about chemical systems, structures and properties.

TERTIARY
WACE / AUSMAT

WACE Physics

In this course, students will learn how energy and energy transformations can shape the environment from the small scale, in quantum leaps inside an atom’s electron cloud, through the human scale, in vehicles and the human body, to the large scale, in interactions between galaxies.
